Giving Back

Doing our bit

People who take our TEFL courses will end up getting jobs in all kinds of exotic locations, teaching children all over the world to speak English. Literacy is a vital tool which will benefit those children for the rest of their lives.

Students on the Supported Jobs programme will educate thousands of Young Learners who are lucky enough to go to school. Those children are very fortunate. They’re getting a solid grounding in a second language which will broaden their horizons as they enter adulthood.

Unfortunately, some children are not quite as lucky as the kids our students teach.

Thousands of children never receive any kind of education at all. Some will barely learn to read and write.

How we help

LoveTEFL isn’t just about making money. We are passionate about the communities where our students work, and we want to give something back to the children who will never be afforded a formal education – never mind the comparative luxury of learning English.

This year, we aim to support Book Aid International, a charity that gives children in sub-Saharan Africa better access to books and libraries. We hope that any support we can give to Book Aid International will make a difference to education and literacy in some of the least privileged areas in the world.
